It is essential to consume high fiber vegetable to lubricates bowels to avoid constipation during confinement. Kale (Kai Lan) is a rich source of vitamin A, C, calcium, protein, glucose and fiber which is an ideal postpartum diet.
Ingredients :
- 200g kale (Kai Lan)
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 small cup ginger juice
- 50g juliennes ginger
- dash of salt
Method :
- Wash kale (Kai Lan) and cut into blocks, then blanch in boiling water until cooked, drain.
- Heat a wok with sesame oil, saut� juliennes ginger until fragrant, add in salt, kale (Kai Lan) and ginger juice, stir-fry to mix and dish out.
