Soup Of Mee Suah (Fine Rice Noodle) Recipe

This is a perfect confinement breakfast meal to get rid of postpartum 'wind' in the body early in the morning. Cooking Tips : Do not over-cooked the mee suah (fine rice noodle), else it will turns too soft and does not taste nice.

Ingredients :Traditional Chinese Cantonese Confinement Food Recipe - Soup Of Mee Suah (Fine Rice Noodle)
  • 2 bunches of mee suah (fine rice noodle)
  • 80g lean meat (sliced)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 10g ginger (juliennes)

    Seasoning :
  • bowl rice wine
  • � bowl water
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce


    Method :
    1. Heat sesame oil in a wok, saut� the ginger till golden brown, add in meat and stir-fry, and then pour in the seasoning and bring to boil. 
    2. Blanch mee suah (fine rice noodle) in boiling water and drain, then add to the soup, toss in the egg, and the dish is ready to be served.
