Breakfast are vital for woman in confinement. A bowl of hot ginger rice helps to warm up the body and boost up energy early in the morning.
Cooking Tips : Use only old ginger as they are much more spicy and more effective in dispelling postpartum body 'wind'.
Ingredients :
1 bowl white rice
50g ginger (chopped)
1 egg
2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp soy sauce
pinch of pepper
Method :
Heat sesame oil in a wok, then saut� ginger until fragrant.
Add in a bowl of white rice and stir-fry, then toss in egg and mix well.
Season with soy sauce and pepper, dish out.
